The Gorgon
I was working with some concepts for a storyline, I needed a malevolent force of destruction, chaos and stasis. I based the other two off of monsters, a dragon for Destruction and a chimera for Chaos. I had trouble thinking of a stasis creature though, finally I decided to use a Gorgon, because they turned things into stone with their gaze. Adding insect like features and a biomechanical feel this sketch was born. The Chimera and Dragon haven't gone past the concept drawings yet.
